LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY - The League is proud to announce the promotion of Eileen Burden to the position of Vice President of Support.
Eileen, who began her journey at Kentucky’s Credit Unions in November 2017, initially served as Professional Development & Training Manager. She returned to the League in March of 2024 as the Manager of Compliance, providing invaluable assistance to credit unions.
In her prior role, Eileen was instrumental in providing comprehensive support to member credit unions. She resolved high-priority compliance issues with diligence and efficiency, designed and launched the Compliance+ Program, and facilitated customized training sessions to meet the evolving needs of member credit unions.
"I am thrilled to step into the role of Vice President of Support for Kentucky's Credit Unions! My passion and purpose are deeply rooted in the great work we do, and I’m excited to help credit unions across Kentucky support their members in achieving happier, healthier financial lives,” said Eileen. “Together, we will ensure that as many people as possible are benefiting from the dynamic education, tools, and services we provide – so that we continue to be a vital and thriving industry, serving and bettering the communities we’re in."
As Vice President of Support, Burden will oversee the League’s compliance, training, and consulting services, ensuring that credit unions continue to receive high-quality support tailored to their unique challenges. She will also play a key role in expanding member resources, guiding regulatory strategy, and enhancing the League’s educational initiatives.
“Eileen brings 20 years of experience in the credit union movement, including roles in branches, business development, professional development, and training. She's also had more than a decade of management experience. She's spent the past year with the League as Manager of Compliance. Her passion for credit unions is unmatched, and we're fortunate to have her on our team,” said Jim Kasch, League President. “We are extremely excited that she has accepted this new position.”

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – Kentucky’s Credit Unions is pleased to announce the launch of its new, innovative rebate program, Relationship Rewards, aimed at rewarding credit unions for doing business with participating league service partners.
The new rewards program offers an opportunity for credit unions in Kentucky to earn a cashback rebate on their service partner contracts. This initiative reflects Kentucky’s Credit Unions’ commitment to providing added value and appreciation to its credit unions.
Jenna Dye, Vice President of Revenue at Thoroughbred Business Services, the service corporation of Kentucky’s Credit Unions, expressed enthusiasm about the launch of Relationship Rewards, stating, "We're really excited to introduce Relationship Rewards to our member credit unions. This new program shows how dedicated we are to making sure our members get the best benefits possible. We're committed to giving our credit union partners unmatched value."
Participation in Relationship Rewards is limited to service partners that share a portion of their revenue with Kentucky’s Credit Unions. Rebates will vary from partner to partner depending on their level of support through the tiered Relationship Rewards program and any special terms or conditions that may apply to the service partner specifically. Rebates will accrue over the course of a year and be paid out the following year in the form of a single check.

LOUISVILLE, KENTUCKY – As part of an extensive rebranding initiative, the Kentucky Credit Union League has announced a fresh identity, complete with a new name and logo.
On January 26, 2024, the League Board of Directors officially approved the rebrand to "Kentucky’s Credit Unions," in line with their mission to promote unity and provide outstanding service to credit unions throughout the state. This rebrand follows the merger of the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) and the National Association of Federal-Insured Credit Unions into America’s Credit Unions.
“I am excited to be a part of this movement as we reveal our new name of Kentucky’s Credit Unions,” said Heather Walter, CEO of Advanz Credit Union and Chair of League Board Directors. “This rebranding more accurately reflects the collaboration and spirit that is encompassed in all credit unions across the Commonwealth. It also reinforces the continued commitment to helping credit unions in our state prosper. Together, we proudly serve over 1 million members.”
Kentucky’s Credit Unions’ rebranding initiative will be rolled out gradually across various channels, including its website, social media platforms, and marketing materials.
