Southeast Management School Scholarships
Kentucky's Credit Unions provides limited educational scholarships which may be utilized for the professional development of individuals in the credit union movement. Granting scholarships maximizes the opportunity for Kentucky credit unions to use development activities to:
Only one scholarship per credit union will be granted for each educational or training program produced by Kentucky's Credit Unions.
Scholarships must be used only for the program for which it was granted. With approval from the League President and/or the Vice President of Communications, Education & Events, individuals may substitute other individuals from the same credit union. If the grant is not used for the program for which it was awarded, the grant will be returned to the scholarship fund and reassigned at a later date at the discretion of the League President and/or the Vice President of Communications, Education & Events.
Qualification Guidelines for Credit Unions
Individuals from credit unions with assets of less than $100 million qualify for scholarships granted for the program fee. These credit unions may receive scholarship grants up to a maximum of $600 per year.
Individuals from all credit unions whose circumstances at the time of the educational activity prevent participation. Circumstances include unplanned increased expenditures, unplanned changes in staff or overall operations, or other unplanned events preventing participation.
Southeastern Regional Credit Union Schools (SRCUS), in partnership with the seven Southeastern credit union leagues, invites interested applicants to apply for scholarships to attend the 2024 Southeast CUNA Management School June 15-20, 2025.
The Southeast Management School utilizes faculty from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business as well as industry experts. It is a three-year curriculum where students participate on campus each summer for six days. Throughout the year, student apply their knowledge to projects that require strategic analysis of their credit union and research relevant issues facing the industry.
This scholarship program provides $3,000 in scholarships per state, to be awarded to students based on future management potential, involvement in the credit union movement, positions held, and other supportive criteria. The scholarship program is open to all professionals from League-affiliated credit unions. Scholarships recipients must reapply each year.

Those awarded a scholarship will be notified by June 5, 2025 and will be reimbursed for registration fees. If approved, you must redeem this scholarship within the awarded year.
